Our Team

Mortgage Israel was founded in 2003. We were the first Mortgage company of its kind in Israel, catering exclusively to the international English speaking market. We work closely with local lawyers, various real estate companies, builders and other industry professionals.

ADAM SIEGEL
CEO, Senior Mortgage Consultant

Adam Siegel grew up in Chicago where he attended Hebrew Theological College and DePaul University. After earning a bachelor’s degree with honors in International Studies, he received smicha from Yeshivas Bais Yisroel in Jerusalem, and is currently on the faculty of Bar Ilan University where he teaches Talmud and Jewish Law.

Prior to making aliyah and joining Mortgage Israel, Adam was the founding director of the United States’ first Hebrew/English charter school. He also won multiple awards from Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, and World Insurance for outstanding performance as an insurance broker on behalf of these companies. This background which combines education and finance enables Adam to clearly and succinctly explain all of the available mortgage options to his clients and to help them identify the ones best suited to their financial situation. Adam currently lives with his wife and five children in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

DAVI KATZ
Senior Mortgage Consultant 

Davi Katz grew up in New York and attended City University of New York, Queens, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, graduating with honors.

He worked for four years as an Account Executive for Enterprise Fleet Services providing fleet consulting and management services to C-level executives in mid size companies throughout New York City. Davi brings a strong analytical background and a good understanding of macro economics to the Mortgage Israel team. His experience with a large US based service company, has made him a leader in customer care and service excellence. Davi made Aliya with Nefesh B’nefesh in 2002 and lives in Ramat Beit Shemesh with his wife and five children.

 ARYEH STRICKOFF
Senior Mortgage Consultant

Aryeh was born and raised in New York. Before his Aliyah, Aryeh practiced law at the New York offices of Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP for 13 years, having worked earlier at the Long Island corporate firm of Goldman and Associates LLP.

He attained his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University in 2004, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business and Liberal Arts from Queens College of the City University of New York in 2000, graduating with high honors. In addition, Aryeh has published several respected books on the holidays of Purim and Chanukah (Feldheim Publishers 2009, 2012), and the Shavuot poem of Akdamus (Feldheim 2019). A consummate professional, Aryeh strives to provide his clients with a pleasant experience, guiding them though the complex waters of the mortgage process in Israel. Drawing on his experience as a lawyer and author, Aryeh is particularly adept at breaking down and explaining complicated concepts in clear and understandable terms. He draws a lot satisfaction from helping his clients realize their dreams of purchasing their homes and other properties in Israel, and consistently goes above and beyond in order that his clients feel comfortable and confident. Aryeh resides with his wife and three children in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

YITZCHAK WAGNER
Senior Mortgage Consultant

Born to American parents and raised in Jerusalem, Yitzchok studied in the top yeshivot before spending six years in property management, where he gained deep expertise in Israel’s real estate market, negotiation, and efficiency.

During this time, he also honed his sharp analytical skills and built an extensive network, which he currently utilizes to assist his mortgage clients.

Fluent in native Hebrew and deeply familiar with Israeli culture, Yitzchok excels at bridging cultural and language gaps, ensuring that his clients feel confident and well-guided throughout the mortgage process. He lives in Beit Shemesh with his wife and three daughters.

YISROEL REISS
Senior Mortgage Consultant 

Originally from Boston, Yisroel graduated from Vassar College and spent many years in the Washington, D.C. region, working for the U.S. government under the Bush and Obama administrations.

As a healthcare finance policy analyst, he worked in the Department of Health and Human Services as part of a team that oversaw policies affecting $100 billion of annual payments made to hospitals. After making aliyah in 2010 to live his dream, Yisroel joined Mortgage Israel and took the opportunity to use his background in finance to help his clients realize their dreams and be able to purchase property in Israel.

Originally from NYC, Tzvi currently lives in RBS with his wife and family.
